Is Delivery available?

We can deliver to the Tweed, Byron, Ballina and Lismore areas. Email ben@brathaus.com.au for further info.

For all orders over $85, we can deliver within 20km of our Gabba warehaus, Thursdays (Bris north) or Fridays (Bris south) between 11am and 5pm for any orders received by Wednesday midnight.

Be at home or please leave an esky out.

- Are your sausages Gluten Free?

Yes they are! 

Are any of your sausages Onion or Garlic free?

All our sausages are onion free. Nurnberger, and Spicy Cheese are onion and garlic free.

Typically it can be ready the next day. Depending on your product/s we may need to acquire stock from the smokehaus. If you want to arrange pickup or discuss the possibility of delivery, please email ben@brathaus.com.au

How long will the sausages last?

They are a smoked product and have a 4-6 week shelf life when kept refrigerated and in an airtight container. They are always supplied fresh and may also be frozen.

How do I cook the sausages for the best result?

We suggest a low-heat grill like a flat plate bbq. They are low in fat and have all-natural skins so high heat will cause them to split early and the essential fats will escape before they are at a temperature ready to eat. We Aussies hate being told how to cook a sausage so trust your self here, you've turned a sausage or two we are certain.
Also, as they are a smoked product, they can be eaten straight from the bag (ensure they are cold) and are a fantastic accompaniment when served sliced on a plate with pickles, olives, cheese and crackers.
Some people prefer to boil them, some will microwave them, or they can be heated in an oven.

Can we freeze the sausages?

Yes certainly. Buying in bulk is always wise and by freezing them, you will make any camping trip a luxury. They can be an easy meal when deciding what to cook would be a chore.

Where will we pick up from?

Our warehouse is in Woolloongabba and we are open for pickup on Thursday and Friday between 10am and 2pm. If this doesn't quite suit, drop us a line at brathauswholesale@gmail.com to arrange something more suitable.

 Can we get The Bratmobile to cater for our Party?

Yes we do this a lot. Depending on the date and time and the availability of our famous food truck, anything is possible. The things we need to answer this question definitely is; Date, Location, expected number of guests and access for our vehicle. All enquiries to ben@brathaus.com.au please.

Are any of the sausages kid friendly?

Yes. The best for kids are the Nurnberger Bratwurst and the Smoked Bratwurst. The Firewurst are definitely not kid friendly; they are full of hot chilli. The Spicy Knackwurst is not overly hot and some kids will happily eat these.

What are the skins made of?

They are made from natural hog casings. An authentic German sausage is all natural with no artificial preservatives, as are ours at Brat Haus. Only the best will satisfy.
